PTFE and PFA lined steel Figure 8 Spectacle Blinds
Known as a spectacle or figure 8 blind thanks to its unique shape, this wafer fitting is designed to swivel around one of the flange bolts. They have a key advantage over blanking spades, with them showing clearly whether the blind is in an open or closed position. For the most common sizes, we can supply an extremely robust blind with a stainless steel clore lined in PFA, which doesn’t suffer from PTFE movement of the flared faces which can occur on other designs.

Please note we only supply PTFE/PFA lined or solid PTFE spades and blinds, we do not supply metallic blinds with serrated faces etc. typically used in the petrochemical industry.
